The result: Sub-second live observability: teams see every deploy and incident the moment it happens, not minutes later.
The problem
Engineering teams had no single live view of pushes, pull requests, deploys and incidents as they happened. The information existed across several tools, and by the time anyone pieced it together, it was minutes old.
What we built
- An event-driven backend on FastAPI, with Kafka streaming events as they arrive.
- PostgreSQL for the system of record and OpenSearch for fast search across events.
- Valkey caching for the hot paths.
- Server-Sent Events pushing updates straight to live dashboards.
Stack
FastAPI · Kafka · PostgreSQL · OpenSearch · Valkey · Server-Sent Events
What this means for your business
If your product needs live dashboards, activity feeds or alerts built on a stream of events, this is the architecture we would start from, sized to your volume.
